Danielle Pecora, OTR/L Danielle graduated from the University of New
Hampshire with her Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy in 1994. She worked briefly in Alabama before moving to
Atlanta to work at one of the children's hospitals in the area. After a few years she and her sister Jessica decided
it was time to open up their own clinic, TLC Rehab. She enjoys working with all children and has had extensive training
in sensory processing disorders and neurodevelopmental treatment. She has attended courses on pediatric feeding and
aquatic therapy. Danielle's interests outside of work include playing tennis, photography, interior decorating, traveling
and spending time with her friends and family.
Jessica Pecora, MS, OTR/L Jessica attended Springfield College in
Massachusetts where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Rehabilitation. She then received her Master's Degree
in Occupational Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University. After working at a private special needs school
in Rhode Island she took a travel position and moved to Alabama. Jessica then moved to the Atlanta area where she
worked for the Gwinnett County Schools. She then opened TLC Rehab with her sister, Danielle, in 1998. Jessica
is not only an OT but is also a LPGA teaching Golf Professional. Her other interests include playing tennis, guitar,
and spending time with friends and family.
Heather Gotthelf, MS, CCC-SLP Heather attended Auburn University and then went
to graduate school at the University of Montevallo where she received her Master's Degree in Communication Disorders.
Before coming to work at TLC in 2004 she worked for the Fulton County Schools. She has training in pediatric feeding
disorders, sensory processing, and auditory processing. Heather is married to Gabe and has a one year old son named
Bryce. She enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and watching the Auburn Tigers.....War Eagle!
Jennifer Koch, MEd, CCC-SLP Jennifer grew up in Colorado and earned
her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Northern Colorado. She moved to Georgia in 1997 and earned her Master's
in Speech Pathology from the University of Georgia in 2001. Jennifer worked for Dekalb county schools for 6 years and
has experience with early intervention, autism, and augmentative communication. Jennifer lives with her husband, John, her
daughter, Ansley, and dog Maggie.
Robyn Grant-Perez, MS, CCC-SLP Robyn
grew up in South Florida and received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida in 1998. She then attended
graduate school at Nova Southeastern University where she earned her Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. After
getting married in 2007, Robyn moved to Georgia with her husband. Before coming to work at TLC in August 2009, she worked
in a variety of settings with both children and adults. Some of which include Early Intervention programs, pediatric rehabilitation
facilities, skilled nursing facilities, Palm Beach County Schools and Cherokee County Schools. She has experience with
a variety of speech and language dysfunctions as well as varying exceptionalities. She enjoys spending time with her husband-
Joe, one-year-old daughter- Aislynn and friends, playing with her dogs-Bailey and Guinness, photography, traveling, shopping,
and cheering on the LIFE UNIVERSITY Rugby team!
Jen Velez, DPT
Joan Morris Joan is usually the first person you will meet when you come
to TLC, Rehab. She is our billing and insurance person. She is also the one who completes the intakes for new
clients and answers the phones. Joan is orginally from Pennsylvania but moved to the Atlanta area when her
husband retired. She has been married to Bob for over 40 years and has 4 children and 6 grandchildren. Her hobbies
include reading, cooking, traveling, shopping and keeping up with her children and grandchildren.
Jackson Jackson is Danielle's dog who is becoming quite the therapy dog.
She rescued him from the Human Society in Hall County. He allows the children to brush his teeth, give him high
fives, and many other tricks for treats. The children have become motivated by him and sometimes enjoy him more than
the therapists.
